1950 International Harvester L120 long bed pickup. 1950 was only year in the L,R,S series that had the hidden door hinges. Truch came from Sierra Vista and I believe it’s spent it’s entire life in Arizona. Was half apart when I got her so we’re gonna keep going and do a frame off resto. 1955 International Harvester RC180 road tractor. Very rare truck. Spent it’s working years in the San Jose area. Got parked 5 years ago right across from the Oakland coliseum. When I came across it, I was told it was “running when parked”(haha, famous last words in old truck collecting). The motor was rusted solid and we had to pull the head and the pan; then to beat it like the proverbial rented mule/red headed stepchild,etc until the pistons moved again. And they did/do. Lots more to do; no brakes, leaking oil, etc but nice to save an old truck, an old binder. I’d like to get a shorty step deck trailer to load some of my other old trucks and cruise to a show or two.
